Our family is reaching out during one of the most difficult times we’ve ever faced. My mom, Rana, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Mucinous Adenocarcinoma (Colon Cancer). Hearing those words has changed our lives in ways we never imagined. At this time, there is no cure, but Rana is continuing to fight with strength, courage, and faith every single day.

Rana is the heart of our family. If you know her, you know how big her heart is and how much she cares about the people around her and much STRENGTH she has.

Right now, our focus is on getting her the care she needs and making sure she is surrounded by love and support. Rana will be traveling to UNC for treatments and appointments, which brings ongoing transportation costs. Along with medical bills and disability, this will create a significant loss of income for our family.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so we can focus on what matters most, Rana’s care, comfort, and time together as a family. Donations will go toward medical expenses, transportation to UNC for treatments, and helping cover everyday living expenses during this incredibly challenging time.

Rana also wants everyone to hear this from her heart: please be diligent about getting checked and taking care of your health. Early screenings matter and can truly save lives.
