My name is Rahman Mateen.

On October 5th, 2023, my life changed forever after a serious car crash that left me with fractures to my neck and spine. I underwent an emergency 12-hour surgical procedure to stabilize my injuries and save my life.

Since the accident, I’ve been on a long and difficult road to recovery—enduring extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and learning how to adapt to a life I never expected. The physical, emotional, and financial toll has been overwhelming.

I’m raising funds to help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, essential living needs, and to secure a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, which is critical for my independence and ability to attend medical appointments and therapy.
