Supporting Philipp in his Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend, Philipp Angeles who is currently battling cancer. Last year he was diagnosed with advanced Staged IV adenocarcinoma lung cancer. It has spread to his liver, spleen, bones and metastatic disease to the lymph nodes.

Philipp has always volunteered his time and help organized food drives to help feed struggling families, and collected everyday essential toiletries for battered women and children and the homeless.

Philipp was a non smoker and he tried to be “ fit”but we all knew he hid snacks in the bottom drawer in his office that he often shared with us when we were having a “day” at work. 

Over the past months, Philipp has been facing an incredibly difficult journey — one filled with medical appointments, treatments, and challenges that no one should have to go through alone. While they are fighting with strength and courage, the financial burden that comes with cancer has added an overwhelming layer of stress.

Between medical bills, treatment costs, medications, travel to appointments, and time away from work, the expenses add up quickly. This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden so Philipp can focus on what truly matters right now: healing and recovery.
