Hi everyone,
Three weeks ago my life changed unexpectedly. After spending two weeks in the hospital and undergoing five plasma treatments, I’m now adjusting to a new diagnosis that has drastically affected my mobility and daily life.
While some days are manageable, others are extremely challenging. The treatments helped, but the symptoms—constant sensations like wearing tight socks or a bra, numbness, weakness, and sudden leg buckling—have returned, especially after the long trip required to get to my recovery location.
I’m starting physical therapy soon and hope to begin inpatient occupational therapy as well. I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and realistic, but the truth is: I currently rely entirely on a walker and a transport chair, as I’m unable to walk safely on my own.
Because this all happened so suddenly, I’m struggling to afford the medical equipment, supplies, and basic essentials I now need every day. These include mobility aids, safety items for the home, therapy tools, and other equipment that insurance doesn’t fully cover.
If you’re able to help—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—it would mean the world to me. Your support will help me stay safe, continue my therapy, and work toward gaining back the independence I’m fighting for.
Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and being part of my recovery journey. ❤️
