Our dear sister Paola Martínez has been a pillar in La Antorcha for many years. She has served with love, humility, and a willing heart in every area where God has called her: as a Worship Leader, Sunday School teacher, youth mentor, and a constant support to her parents’ ministry. Paola has always been the kind of person who says “yes” without hesitation, who gives more than she has, and who serves without seeking recognition.

Today, Paola is facing an unexpected and difficult battle: cancer. While she undergoes treatment, she is unable to work, which has placed a heavy burden on her and her family. The woman who has lifted for so many years now needs us to lift her.

Nuestra querida hermana Paola Martínez ha sido un pilar en La Antorcha por muchos años. Ha servido con amor, humildad y un corazón dispuesto en cada área donde Dios la ha llamado: como apoyo de Líder de Alabanza, maestra de Escuela Dominical, mentora de jóvenes y apoyo constante para el ministerio de sus padres. Paola siempre ha sido esa persona que dice “sí” sin dudar, que da más de lo que tiene, y que sirve sin buscar reconocimiento.

Hoy, Paola enfrenta una batalla inesperada y difícil: cáncer. Mientras recibe tratamiento, no puede trabajar, lo cual ha puesto una carga muy pesada sobre ella y su familia. La mujer que por años ha levantado a tantos ahora necesita que nosotros la levantemos a ella.
