Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out as a mom to ask for support for my son Owen Cline, who was recently in an accident that resulted in a broken femur. He has just come out of a long and extensive surgery, and while we’re grateful the surgery went well, the road ahead will take time, patience, and a lot of healing.

Because the femur is the largest bone in the body, recovery is not quick. He will be dealing with limited mobility, physical therapy, and follow-up medical care, all while trying to recover mostly on his own, as he lives alone and doesn’t have much day-to-day help.

My son works in the trades, and due to the physical demands of his job, he will not be able to return to work until his doctors say it’s safe. This means he’s facing a long period without income while still needing to cover rent, medical bills, and basic living expenses.

As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to see your child in pain and worry about how they’ll manage through something like this. We created this GoFundMe to help lift some of that burden so he can focus fully on healing and getting stronger each day.
