Help a Family Forced to Start Over.

Unfortunately, a few of our beloved students in our community recently learned something no educator ever wants to hear…

One of my students quietly shared that their father had been deported. Overnight, their world changed. Their family is now being forced to leave the country and relocate, leaving behind their home, school, friendships, belongings, and stability.

This family is stepping into the unknown—grieving, scared, and trying to stay strong in circumstances no one should ever have to face.

We are fundraising to help ease their transition and provide support for the kids during this heartbreaking and chaotic time.

Unfortunately, we are on a time crunch… so this is going to be a 24-hr fundraising goal. Any help we can do for them is appreciated.

We were waiting on approval from parent if I was able to help to raise funds to respect their privacy so unfortunately I received the thumbs up today. On top of that, They are leaving sooner than we thought.

So let's help this family together during these hard times.

No family should be torn apart. No child should have to carry the weight of saying, “My dad was taken from us.” The systems that cause this harm are cruel, and this fundraiser is one small way we can push back with love, solidarity, and real support.

You have no idea how happy this family is going to be and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

I literally can’t believe how much everyone has rallied for this family in less than 24 hours.
