Help Us Support Our Dad, Rene Zamarripa, in His Fight Against Stage Four Prostate Cancer
My name is Sandra Zamarripa, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart. On September 25th, just one day before my 34th birthday, my family received the most devastating news: my dad, Rene Zamarripa, has been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer.
My dad is more than just a father—he is the backbone of our family. He has spent his entire life working tirelessly as a truck driver, sacrificing his own needs and comforts to provide for us. Long hours on the road meant time away from home, but he did it all to make sure his wife, his four children, and now his grandchildren never went without. He has always been our protector, our provider, and our source of strength.
Now, he’s facing the hardest road of his life. Watching the man who has given everything for us battle this disease is something I never imagined I’d have to face, but I know we have to be strong for him—just as he’s always been strong for us.
As a family, we are coming together to fight alongside him, but the reality is that the costs of medical treatments, frequent travel for appointments, and related expenses are already overwhelming. We want to make sure that in this fight, he doesn’t have to carry the burden of financial stress on top of everything else.
That’s why we are reaching out for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping cover the costs of his care, travel, and ongoing medical needs. Your support will allow us to focus on what truly matters—being by his side and making the most of the time we have together.
My dad, Rene, has always been there for us. Now, we are humbly asking for help to be there for him. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us during this difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Sandra Zamarripa & Family
