8-week-old Onyx Storm has been admitted to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and placed on life support due to complications from enlarged ventricles on the bottom of her heart, fluid in and around her lungs, as well as testing positive for RSV and COVID. We are uncertain how long she is expected to be admitted as she is currently in the ICU receiving extensive medical intervention and round-the-clock care.

This sudden onset of serious illness has brought on hard times, due to both parents having to take unpaid FMLA to care for her. Not having an income on top of co-pays and fees for tests insurance doesn't cover, as well as travel expenses to and from the hospital, is going to put our family in an irreparable financial deficit.
