Our community needs to come together for one of our own.

Yesterday, Officer Melanie Burner — our beloved Security Officer at Indian Acres — faced every parent’s worst nightmare as her son underwent brain surgery. As if that wasn’t enough, this morning her camper at Indian Acres burned to the ground, leaving her without her belongings, and sense of stability during an already devastating time.

Officer Burner has always shown up for our community with strength, compassion, and dedication. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

We are asking for donations — big or small — to help support Melanie and her family as they navigate both her son’s recovery and the overwhelming loss of her home.
