On 5/1/25, our dear friend, sister, co-worker, Dora Senegal lost her entire home to a house fire. Mrs. Dora has been working as a nurse at University Hospital & Clinics for the past 17 years. We would like to bless Mrs. Dora with monetary donations provided by her friends. For all those who know her, know she radiates peace and sunshine.
"Mrs. Dora: We love you and we will always stand with you to battle this moment. We are a strong family and forever will be. Our prayers go out to you and your family. When you need us you won't have to look far. We will be right next to you, and God will carry you all the way."
Better, Not Bitter
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new….” —Revelation 21:5
When God restores, He doesn’t just put the pieces back together; He makes them better than before. Maybe your heart has been broken, and now you find yourself trying to rebuild a shattered life. Perhaps you’ve been telling yourself, “I was doing good until that happened!” Whatever your “until” moment is, God knows, and He will not let that experience alter His purpose and plan for your life.
You are still His beloved, still chosen, still His joy! Whatever the enemy intended for harm, God is already turning it around for your good. Don’t dwell in self-pity, wondering who you might have been or where you might be now if things had been different. God’s promises to you are sure, and He is the only One who can take what was broken and create something far better than you could imagine.
Just wait until God finishes His work in your life! He is making all things new. Even if it doesn’t look or feel like it now, trust Him. Speak life and declare His promises: “My God is restoring everything I’ve lost and making all things new for me!”
Prayer:
Father, You see every broken place in me, and You care deeply. Thank You for ministering to my heart through Your Word. Help me to grow better, not bitter, as I trust in Your restoration power. I give You every piece of my heart and ask You to make all things new in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
