My name is Ayla Starr and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of one of my son Adriel's best friends, Nolan Beard, who was recently diagnosed with a rare pediatric brainstem cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Nolan is 15 years old and a freshman at Bath High School. He is kind, tender-hearted, and has a wonderful sense of humor. While Nolan has had some health concerns these past few months, this recent diagnosis has been a devastating shock to him, his family, and all who love him.

While we are trusting God for a miracle and waiting in faith for healing, there are some immediate needs that I am appealing to all of you for help with. Given the vast medical needs and intensive treatment, including radiation, involved in Nolan's journey, medical bills will be piling up, and I would love for his parents, Heather and Rob, to not have to worry about them while also navigating how to care for their son well during this difficult time.

Would you please prayerfully consider supporting this family with a monetary donation that will help pay first and foremost Nolan's medical bills, and any additional needs Nolan's family may have in order to make any needed adjustments to their time, work schedules, and transportation to and from Ann Arbor where he is primarily being treated at Mott's Children Hospital?

Finally, would you also please pray that God would do a miracle and heal Nolan's body? As a cancer survivor of 5 years now, I know that He is a healer and I am tangible evidence that miracles still happen even when we are faced with the impossible.
