Some of you know, Nick suffered a mental health crisis on Tuesday night. He went into the ER Wednesday afternoon and was transported to an inpatient behavioral health center on Thursday. He is open and willing to go, which is great news. He will be there for a minimum of 7 days, up to 30. The facility does work on a sliding scale, but the costs are substantial. It is $500/day, so 7 days is $3500. That will not include all the time I am missing work; I can pick up extra shifts for that. I am asking for help, we are making it but barely and the costs of this trip, while worth it, is making a tough situation impossible.
