Nesrin and Neslihan (Leslie) Adar are two hardworking sisters who have spent more than 20 years doing physically demanding work to support their families, raise their children, and help those around them whenever someone was in need.

Recently, they were involved in a devastating car accident in which their vehicle was hit hard from both the front and the rear. Both suffered serious injuries and multiple broken bones. Thankfully, they are now out of life-threatening danger, but they still face surgeries, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and a long road to recovery.

Their doctors have told them that, due to the severity of their injuries, they will be unable to walk for an extended period of time and their mobility will be severely limited. Because their livelihoods depend on physically demanding work, they will also be unable to return to work for a long time. Meanwhile, their mortgage or rent, utilities, groceries, their children’s needs, medical expenses, and rehabilitation costs will continue.

We are starting this fundraiser so Nesrin and Neslihan can focus on healing and their families instead of worrying about how they will make ends meet.
