On 11/25, my mother unexpectedly lost her sweet dog, Carmen. She was run over by a UPS truck, and the driver never stopped. The pup was standing at the end of my mother's driveway on a gravel road in a rural part of the country. The truck was passing through at a high rate of speed when it ran over my mom's dog. Carmen broke her spine in half; she tried crawling back to the house, yelping in pain while covered in road rash and bleeding out. My mother had to rush her to the vet where she had to be put down (costing her over $600).

After the accident, I called UPS and notified them of what happened. After 3 weeks, we finally got a call back from UPS denying the incident. Even with video taken from a Ring camera, they are denying it because the actual view of her getting run over is slightly outside the frame on the video, even though the video shows the UPS truck was the only vehicle on the road that day and on the road right at that time.

My mother is a strong, independent woman who takes care of her farm with NO help. This has put a strain on her financially at the moment as she is on a limited income and has crushed her emotionally. If anyone would like to help her with these unexpected vet bills, please donate. Every dollar helps.
