Morgan is one of the strongest people I know. She’s a manager at Dollar General, someone who shows up, works hard, and keeps going even when life gets tough.
Right now, she’s in the ICU dealing with severe MRSA double pneumonia.
Her lungs have been heavily affected, and she currently requires a ventilator to help her breathe. After briefly trying to come off, she had to be placed back on the ventilator due to breathing difficulties. Doctors have told us this will be a long process, with at least several more weeks in the hospital, followed by a challenging recovery.
Even through everything, Morgan has had moments where she’s alert, aware, and showing her strength. That’s who she is—strong-willed, determined, and not someone who gives up.
While she focuses on healing, life outside the hospital continues.
Morgan is currently on unpaid leave from her job, and the financial strain is growing:
- Medical-related expenses
- Everyday bills and living costs
- Recovery needs once she is discharged
We are asking for support to help ease some of this burden so Morgan can focus on getting better without the added stress of finances.
