Hello, I'm starting this fund on behalf of my sister-in-law Monica. The morning after Easter, my niece Jackie (11) woke up with difficulty breathing; she has struggled with asthma her whole life. Unfortunately, her asthma attack caused her to stop breathing, and she was in cardiac arrest for 47 long minutes. She is now in the ICU at Children's Hospital as we hope and pray all of her brain activity will return. Monica is a single mother of 4 who is dedicated to her children while juggling being a full-time nursing home employee. The road to recovery for Jackie may be long. I am hoping to raise money and support to give her a bit of financial stability during this time so she can take off the time she needs to be with Jackie.
