UPDATE:

Hey guys. Thank you for all your support. Here is a NEW update! As we know, things don’t always go as planned. Mom finally had her big surgery on 1/14, 2 weeks after it was originally scheduled, at Southern NH Medical center. It took the surgeon 7 hours but he is happy with how it went and how she is healing. On 2/1 she moved to a rehab facility in Nashua. She sees a physical therapist and an occupational therapist daily and is working hard to get stronger so she can eventually learn to walk again and go home.

On 2/26 she had a 2nd surgery to help the wound on her leg heal. She is currently still in the hospital while her care team keeps a close eye on her. She sees her vascular surgeon every day and he is happy with how things are going.

Eventually she will go back to the rehab facility and continue on her healing journey. Unfortunately, down the road, Mom will need more surgeries but for now we are all focusing on getting her strong enough to go home. She misses being at home and at work, and she misses her cat, Stanley, immensely.

With the extended stay in the hospital/rehab and no definite return to work date, bills are piling up and the financial burden continues to grow. She has been doing everything she can to stay caught up but being in the hospital makes it difficult. Any help, no matter how small, will make a difference. My family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts and we appreciate all of the love, support, and generosity we have already received! ♥️

Hey guys, my mom doesn't really ask for help but some medical issues came up. She has been in the hospital since 12/1 and will be transferred to Mass General Hospital on 12/30 for vascular surgery. After her surgery she will be brought back to Southern NH Medical center for recovery and then to a rehabilitation facility until she is strong enough to go home. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her and is not expected to go back to work for at least 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately she has exhausted the short term disability offered by her employer and any help would be greatly appreciated so that she can focus on getting better.
