Update 2.13.26 -Mitchel’s surgery went okay. He had a major asthma attack when the anesthesiologist put in his breathing tube before surgery. He was supposed to be in recovery for about 30 minutes and that quickly turned into 1 1/2 hours, longer than he was in the OR. He has severe sleep apnea, so that’s another issue we’re now facing. The anesthesiologist came out and talked to me personally and was incredibly adamant that he sees his PCP for this. The pain medicine he’s taking makes him sleepy and in turn makes him breathe even more shallow than is normal. I’ve been waking him up every hour per her advice. I’m tired but so thankful that’s he’s okay. Please continue to pray and send love his way. He has a hard road ahead of him ❤️

Hi,

I’m Katy and I’m starting this gofundme for Mitchel Cline. Mitchel suffered a back injury in August of 2024 that has left him unable to go back to work. He had already been experiencing back problems for the past 10 years, but this took him down. Unfortunately, he has experienced setback after setback. Insurance, referrals, miscommunication between clinics, wrongful termination, push back from his former employer- you name it, it’s gone wrong. On top of all of those things, the pain he’s went through in the past year has been borderline unbearable for the most part. He has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and honestly a laundry list of other big words that we’ve had to come home and google. Slowly but surely, Mitchel’s mobility has dwindled to the point where leaving the house most days is impossible.

Surgery has finally been scheduled. February 11th is the big day. Any funds donated will go directly to Mitchel for travel costs to appointments, hotel if necessary, and bills accrued while he recovers.

Pudge would never ask for a handout. But he’s a friend to so many and sometimes we all could use a little help. He’s a partner, a dad, and a best friend with a heart of gold. If you’re unable to donate, send all of the prayers and love in your heart to him, he deserves so much better than the hand he’s been dealt. Put him on your prayer list at church. Send good vibes his way if he happens to cross your mind. We serve a powerful God and our hope and prayer is for healing. Mvto
