Last Friday our family received news that no one wants to hear. My brother in law Mickey Santana, my husband’s twin, has been diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to his liver and lymph nodes. He will be starting chemotherapy in two weeks. With a cancer diagnosis comes a significant increase in medical costs as well as making sure the house is prepared, transportation, and time off of work for my mother in law to bring him to medical appointments. Any help would be greatly appreciated to ease the burden and allow Mickey and our family to focus on his treatment.
