I don’t usually do this, but I’m asking for help.
My sister Michelle is once again fighting ovarian cancer.
She’s already been through six rounds of chemo and a major surgery, and after two years of being cancer-free, we thought she had put this behind her. Unfortunately, it’s come back.
She recently went through another major surgery (with complications) and is now starting a new round of chemotherapy.
If you know her, you know how strong and independent she is — and how hard it is for her to ask for help. But right now, as a solo mom of two, she’s facing this fight again while already carrying a financial burden from her first round of treatment, with more medical bills and expenses to follow.
We started a GoFundMe to help take some of that weight off her shoulders — covering treatment, travel, and everyday expenses during this time, and considerable time out of work — so she can focus on what matters most: getting through treatment and being there for her kids.
If you’re able to contribute, thank you. If not, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you all — truly.
