Hi, it’s Meghan

This isn’t easy to share, but I want to be honest about what’s been going on.

Over the past year, I’ve been navigating a rare condition called Achalasia. It’s been severe and unpredictable, leading to multiple ER visits, hospital stays, and ongoing medical expenses.

Prior to January 2025, most of you know I rarely called out. I showed up consistently and took a lot of pride in that. This shift has been incredibly difficult, especially because so much of it is out of my control.

Because of this, I haven’t been able to work consistently. As a hairstylist and small business owner, my income depends on being behind the chair—and there have been stretches where that hasn’t been possible.

I’m currently pursuing a second opinion at Cedars-Sinai to find a clearer path forward, and continuing to advocate for proper care along the way.

Right now, I’m asking for support to help cover medical expenses, travel for care, and to stay afloat while I work toward stabilizing my health.
