Hi, my name is Caitlin, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend Megan as she prepares for ongoing treatment for Stage 4 endometriosis.
For nearly 30 years, Megan has faced severe endometriosis and has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures. Since 2023 alone, she's had 17 surgeries. Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to live with significant pain and ongoing medical needs.
For the remainder of the year, Megan is preparing for at least 6 additional procedures, along with continued treatment, recovery time, and travel for specialized care.
As a self-employed freelancer, Megan does not have access to paid medical leave. Time spent recovering means a direct loss of income, along with missed opportunities to take on new work.
In addition to lost income, her expenses include:
- Medical procedures and follow-up care
- Travel, lodging, and meals for out-of-town appointments
- Prescription medications and ongoing treatment
- Recovery support during the months ahead
While we’ve done our best to estimate these costs, endometriosis treatment is unpredictable, and additional needs may arise.
If you’re able to give financially, any amount makes a meaningful difference.
If giving isn’t possible right now, there are still powerful ways to support Megan:
- Watch and engage with her YouTube content
- Interact with and share her posts on social media
- Follow and share her endometriosis journey
- Support through her Amazon affiliate links
Additional support such as gas cards, restaurant gift cards, or hotel points can also help ease the burden during travel for care.
Thank you for taking the time to read, support, and share. Every form of support—whether financial or not—helps Megan focus on healing.
