Hi, my name is Megan. I got hit hard by Covid at the end of 2019. The health issues started immediately after. I had long Covid for several years, diagnosed with MS, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos, and POTS. I spent most of the last 6 years constantly pushing through my issues and flare-ups, out in the field as an electrician and in the office as an overworked, undersupported union rep.

Last year, my body shut down. All of my issues flared the worst they've ever been all at once, and I could no longer continue to push through. I spent most of 2025 bedridden and relearning to walk. I've gone through all of my reserves, have not been able to afford any treatments in months, and am now in danger of losing my housing. My support system is very small and has done what they can to help.
