My bonus mom, Meesa, is going through something no one ever expects to face. She has been diagnosed with a 5.3 brain aneurysm and now needs emergency surgery in Anchorage. Our family is still in shock. Everything changed so suddenly, and we are doing our best to stay strong while facing something so frightening and uncertain.
Meesa is not just someone we love — she is family. She is a deeply important part of our lives, and the thought of her going through such a serious medical emergency is absolutely heartbreaking. Watching someone you care about face a life-threatening situation leaves you feeling helpless, scared, and desperate to do anything you can to help.
Right now, our only focus is getting her through surgery safely and making sure she has the support she needs to recover. But along with the emotional weight of this crisis comes a financial burden that is growing by the day. Emergency travel to Anchorage, transportation, lodging, meals, medical costs, and recovery expenses are already adding up so quickly. On top of that, Meesa will be out of work while she heals, creating even more stress during an already devastating time.
As hard as it is, we are reaching out and asking for help. We want to take even a little bit of this weight off her shoulders so she can focus on healing, resting, and making it through the days ahead without the added fear of how these expenses will be covered.
Your donation will help support Meesa with:
Emergency travel and transportation to Anchorage
Lodging and meals during the hospital stay
Medical and healthcare-related expenses
Recovery and healing costs
Lost income during her time away from work
No amount is too small. Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every kind word means more than we can express. If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Meesa in your thoughts would still be such a gift to our family.
We are praying for strength, for healing, and for a successful surgery. More than anything, we are praying for more time with someone who means so much to all of us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us support Meesa during one of the most painful and frightening times our family has ever faced. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
