Max is a joyful 1-year-old boy who has already faced more than most do in a lifetime. At birth, Max was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue sarcoma and began treatment at just 3 weeks old. After 6 months of intensive care and 9 rounds of chemotherapy, Max rang the bell in November 2025 and finally got to live life as a happy, thriving baby.
But just two weeks ago, everything changed. Max began showing signs of imbalance, extreme fatigue, and illness. Despite being diagnosed with a common virus, his condition rapidly worsened. After two ER visits, he was admitted for observation—where he quickly declined. An emergency CT scan revealed three tumors in his brain, with the largest causing the symptoms he had been experiencing. Unfortunately, he has relapsed.
On April 22, Max underwent urgent surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, and he now faces the difficult road of starting chemotherapy again. Last year, The Family managed to carry the financial burden of Max's care, but this time they cannot do it alone. We are humbly asking for support to help cover overwhelming medical expenses, loss of income, and potential travel for additional treatment options. Max is loved beyond measure and we will stop at nothing to do everything for him. Any help, no matter the size, means the world to Max and our family.
Prayers are always welcome! We know God has a plan and we trust in him!
Lauren and Zach Moquin are Max's devoted parents. Lauren Moquin, his mother, is the beneficiary to receive your donations towards Max's ongoing cancer care and treatment.
