MEET MATTY AND JOIN HIS FIGHT AGAINST CANCER!

Matty is 9 years old.

When Matty was just 3 years old, he was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After years of fighting, treatments, and more courage than any child should ever have to find, Matty got to do something every cancer family dreams of, he rang the bell and announced that he was cancer-free.

But after a few precious years, Matty’s cancer has returned.

Today, Matty is fighting cancer once again.

His treatment is intense. Matty wears a backpack 24 hours a day, 28 days straight, as it continuously administers chemotherapy. He can't take it off, and it can't get wet.

Every 40 days, Matty and his mom make the move from their home in Belfry, Montana, to Billings, where they stay for approximately six weeks while Matty receives treatment. Then they return home, only to make the trip all over again.

And behind every treatment, every trip, and every difficult day is a single mom doing everything she can to be there for her son. She has to take time away from work to care for Matty, while the family faces the enormous emotional and financial burden that comes with his cancer fight.
