For the past five years, our brother, Matt has been courageously fighting stage 4 colorectal cancer. Through every challenge, setback, and uncertain moment, he has remained the same incredible person we’ve always known—happy, active, strong, kind, and full of life. His resilience is nothing short of inspiring.
He is the kind of person who lights up every room he enters. Even on his hardest days, he finds a way to smile, to laugh, and to lift others up. He doesn’t let cancer define him—instead, he continues to live with purpose, strength, and always seeing the best in people. He makes it a priority to stay active, he loves snowboarding, camping, and exploring the backcountry with his fiance between chemo treatments.
At the center of his world are his two children, Jacey and Ethan. As a devoted father, he has always been their biggest supporter, protector, and role model. Watching him continue to show up for them with unwavering love and positivity, despite everything he’s facing, is both humbling and powerful.
Over the years, the physical, emotional, and financial toll of this long battle has grown heavier. Working is difficult while feeling effects of chemo regularly. Treatments, medical bills, and the everyday costs of living while fighting cancer have created a burden no one should have to carry alone.
We are asking for your support to help ease that burden. Every donation, no matter the size, will help to provide ongoing stability for him and his family during this difficult time while they navigate both the financial burdens of cancer and try to live life to the fullest.
If you’re unable to give, sharing this page and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers means more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story and for being part of the support system that keeps him going strong. Your kindness and generosity truly makes a difference.
