My daughter, Matayah, has been diagnosed with CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency), a chronic condition that leaves her sick more often than not. She urgently needs IVIG treatments, but insurance has made approval a long and exhausting process. On top of that, she has to travel 3.5 hours one way to see specialists and get the care she needs.

This illness has already taken such a toll on her health and her life. She has missed significant time at work and does not have enough leave to cover all her absences. That means her paycheck often isn’t enough to cover her basic living expenses.

Matayah is also a single mom to her sweet 4-year-old son, Luca, who attends daycare. She is trying so hard to provide for him and keep life as normal as possible, but between missed work, medical costs, and travel expenses, it’s becoming overwhelming.

We are reaching out for help to cover:

• Travel expenses for her out-of-town medical care

• Living expenses when she misses work due to illness or treatment

• Daycare costs for Luca

• The extra costs that come with managing a chronic illness
