Our family would like to share an important update on Martha’s journey.

Because of the incredible generosity, prayers, and messages you have already shown, Martha has been able to move forward with her treatment plan. Her surgery is now scheduled for March 3rd at UNC Chapel Hill, and she feels strengthened and encouraged by the love surrounding her.

As we prepare for her recovery, we find ourselves needing to ask for help once again. Martha will be unable to work for several weeks, but keeping her salon space is essential — it is not only her livelihood, it is the place she hopes to return to as soon as she heals. Covering the salon rent during recovery will ensure she still has a business and clients waiting for her when she comes back.

To help ease the burden on her clients, her sisters have lovingly stepped in to care for them during this time, which brings Martha great peace knowing everyone will continue to be taken care of while she focuses on healing.
