Our entire family, especially my Tita Maricar, has been blessed with your donations of hope and support. Thank you for expressing your love through your generosity. Our beloved Tita, is now resting with her FIRST and GREATEST love, our Father in Heaven. Your expression of love has provided her comfort through her final days, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We feel the best way to stay true to Tita Maricar, and our supporting community is through complete transparency of how your contributions are being utilized. We are near $3,500 and this amount will be utilized for her medical related expenses as it related to her comfort. Our goal will continue to be $10,000.

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my dear Tita Maricar, a woman of faith who has touched our lives in ways words cannot capture. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and an unwavering spirit. Today, we come together to stand by her side in her final journey.

Maricar grew up in the Philippines; her life took an unexpected turn in her early twenties when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Psoriasis. Her condition is so severe it covers over 90% of her body; it's much more severe than what is depicted in commercials. Needless to say, her vibrant youth was replaced by the constant battle against chronic pain and discomfort.

Maricar’s journey has been marked by pain, sacrifice, and a profound strength that only true believers possess. However, in recent times things have taken a turn for the worst. Last year brought another devastating blow – the amputation of her foot due to a cancerous tumor. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and various treatments, a more aggressive tumor emerged on her left groin, tearing through the skin and growing relentlessly each passing day. Adding to this heartbreaking truth, Maricar's faithful husband lost his job four months ago and is currently bedridden due to tuberculosis of the spine. Unfortunately, he is unable to take care of her in these last precious moments.

Maricar now lies in a hospital bed, her body frail, and her mind delirious. At her current state the doctors have shared the heart-wrenching news that there's nothing more they can do, and all that remains is to provide palliative care to manage her unbearable pain.

As we witness Tita Maricar's courageous battle, our family and friends are compelled to come together as a community, united in faith and compassion. It's during these moments of despair that I turn to you, our extended family, and friends, for support.

Our ask is simple – any amount you can contribute will go towards ensuring her comfort and will further provide solace to her soul as she awaits the opening of Heaven's gates. I know that times are tough for many, but even the smallest donation can make a significant impact. Every dollar brings us one step closer to providing her with the peace and comfort she deserves. (All funds will be sent to the Philippines and deposited for Maricar's hospital expenses.)

Together, we can make a difference in the life of this brave, God fearing woman who has faced adversity with grace and unwavering faith. Our collective compassion will shine as a beacon of hope for our dear Tita Maricar.
