As many of you know, my battle with cancer began in 2021 when I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. Shortly after, I had to undergo surgery to remove my kidney. Within that same year, doctors discovered the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes and then into my right lung.
I went through radiation and then a full year of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, at the end of that year, the cancer had not been cured and had spread to my left lung. Since then, I’ve continued chemotherapy and have been doing my best to stay strong and keep fighting.
On March 26th, I had new scans done, and on April 1st, my doctor told me that the spots in my lungs were stable and not growing. That gave me hope. However, the very next day, April 2nd, I received a call with unexpected and difficult news. The reports showed that a spot on the outside of my lung first seen back in December has now grew 3x to over 11 centimeters in just three months.
Because of this, I now need to undergo radiation followed by more chemotherapy. This treatment will require me to stay away from home for at least a week at a time.
Previously, I was able to cover travel, lodging, and food expenses thanks to the generosity from the benefit so many of you contributed to. I am incredibly grateful for that support—it truly helped me get through a very difficult time. Unfortunately, those funds have now been exhausted due to ongoing treatments and constant travel to and from appointments.
I am humbly asking for help again. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to me and help ease the financial burden so I can focus on what matters most—fighting this cancer.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and kindness. It truly means more than words can express.
