Help Support Mama Bullard’s Fight for Her Life Mama Bullard is a hardworking wife and mother who has faced every imaginable obstacle with strength, hope, and determination. Her journey has been filled with setback after setback, yet she continues to fight every single day. In April 2025, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. In June, she bravely underwent a double mastectomy and began her radiation treatment two months later. Tragically, her first round of radiation led to a severe allergic reaction which landed her in the hospital for multiple days. Forcing another surgery to remove more lymph nodes. Currently she’s relying on the treatment of chemo medication to help fight cancer. As if battling cancer wasn’t enough, on November 6th, she had a lung biopsy. On the morning of November 7th, her world turned upside down when the kitchen ceiling of the townhouse she rents with her family collapsed inward, exposing her and her family to mold. This devastating discovery worsened her already fragile health and may have contributed to the progression of her lung condition called Pulmonary Microlithiasis. A rare and life-threatening lung condition that now requires a lung transplant. The sudden ceiling collapse has left her and her family with unsafe living conditions. For half the month of November her and her family have had to go without hot water and no access to a kitchen. They’ve been without heat the entire month of November and are still currently without heat. Due to the pain, exhaustion, and side effects of the chemo medication, she has not been able to work her normal job as a Lyft driver. She’s still waiting for disability to be approved. She’s had 2 more setbacks in just the last week. After the month of December she will no longer be able to work for Lyft because her car is considered too old. She has a 2012 Honda Civic. Recently her husband’s car broke down and paying to get it fixed has been a challenge. Mama Bullard is fighting two life-threatening conditions, living in a home that is a health/safety hazard, and trying to stay afloat financially—all while still showing up the best she can for her family. She’s doing her best to stay positive.
