Our hearts are broken as we share that our sweet 4-year-old granddaughter Lyla is facing a battle no child should ever have to fight.

Lyla has been diagnosed with stage 3 adrenocortical carcinoma, an extremely rare and aggressive cancer. The tumor began on her adrenal gland and has now spread, reaching dangerously close to her heart.

Everything has happened so quickly. Lyla is currently at Riley's Children's Hospital, where she will begin powerful chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking the tumor enough for surgery. After that, she will need a major operation, and her medical team will closely monitor her through every step of this difficult journey.

Lyla is a bright, feisty, loving little girl. She is quick-witted and so smart. She loves pretty dresses and shoes. She also loves Bluey.

She has three sisters who love her deeply, and their world has been turned upside down in an instant.

Her parents are doing everything they can to stay strong for all of their children, but as a one-income family, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. Between hospital stays, travel, meals, time away from work, and care for their other daughters, the costs are adding up quickly.

We are asking for help so her parents can focus on what matters most—being by Lyla's side as she fights for her life.
