Hi Woodbridge Members,
My name is Zach Kramer, your Assistant Pro here at WGCC, and I’m writing on behalf of my coworker and friend, Luke Toy.
Luke is just 20 years old and one of the hardest-working, kindest young men I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. He shows up every day with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to help anyone who needs it. He’s the kind of person you can always count on.
Recently, Luke was diagnosed with lymphoma — for the second time. At just 20 years old, he is now preparing to undergo several months of chemotherapy, followed by a bone marrow transplant. No one should have to fight a battle like this once, let alone twice — especially at such a young age.
As you can imagine, the physical and emotional toll is enormous. On top of that, there will be significant financial strain from medical bills, time away from work, and everyday living expenses during treatment and recovery.
We aren’t setting a specific fundraising goal. Instead, we’re simply asking that anyone who feels moved to help donate whatever they’re comfortable with. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward supporting Luke as he focuses on what matters most — beating this disease and healing.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Luke in your thoughts and prayers. He’s a fighter, and with the support of his Woodbridge Golf and Country Club community behind him, we’re confident he can get through this.
Thank you for taking the time to read Luke’s story and for any support you’re able to give.
— Zach Kramer
