After ten years of dedicated service as a firefighter, my brother-in-law Lt . Ryan berg is now facing his most difficult battle yet: a Stage 3 cancer diagnosis that has reached his lungs and lymph nodes.

He has always been the one to answer the call, protecting his community with bravery and selflessness. Now, as he begins a long and grueling road of treatment, he is on medical leave and facing the reality that he may never be able to return to the job he loves.
