Title: Help My Wife Lourdes Through Multiple Surgeries and Recovery

Hi everyone,

My name is Margaro, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my wife, Lourdes. Asking for help like this is not easy for us, but the past year has been incredibly difficult and we could really use support during this time.

Over the past year, Lourdes has been facing serious health challenges. She has already gone through several procedures, including multiple knee surgeries, and she is now preparing for her fifth knee surgery. In addition to that, she has more major surgeries ahead — an SI joint fusion scheduled for June and a left hip surgery planned for August.

On top of the orthopedic issues, Lourdes has also been battling severe iron-deficiency anemia, which recently required iron infusions because her levels became dangerously low. The fatigue, dizziness, and weakness from the anemia make everyday life and recovery even harder for her.

Because of these ongoing health issues and the recovery time needed after each surgery, it has become extremely difficult for Lourdes to work. She is currently waiting for disability approval, but as many people know, that process can take a long time. Meanwhile, medical bills, treatments, medications, copays, and everyday living expenses continue to grow.

I created this GoFundMe to help support Lourdes while she goes through these upcoming surgeries and long recovery periods. Any donation, no matter how small, or even simply sharing this page would mean more to us than words can express.
