Dear friends, family, and kind hearts,

Our beloved Lou, a devoted husband, loving father, and gifted photographer, has recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a serious cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

This diagnosis came completely out of the blue and has turned our family’s life upside down. Louis is now facing aggressive medical treatments, doctor-mandated rest, and an extended leave from work.

Along with the physical and emotional toll of this disease, our family is confronting a frightening financial reality. Without Louis’s income, we are struggling to keep up with our mortgage, utilities, transportation, medical costs, and other essential living expenses.

Louis is so much more than his diagnosis. He is deeply loved by his family, friends, and the many people whose lives he has touched. He is incredibly funny and quick-witted, with a wonderful ability to make people laugh when they need it most. Louis has a special gift for connecting with others; he makes people feel comfortable, valued, and as though they have known him for years.

As a talented photographer, Louis has spent years capturing the most meaningful and joyful moments in people’s lives. He is deeply loved and respected by his clients, the many vendors who have had the pleasure of working alongside him, and his close-knit team of photographers and videographers. To them, Louis is much more than a colleague; he is a trusted friend, a mentor, and someone who brings humor, warmth, and positive energy wherever he goes.

Many clients begin as strangers but leave feeling like family because that is simply who Louis is.

That same gift for connecting with people has already helped Louis form a wonderful bond with his nurses and doctors. They have treated him with exceptional kindness, patience, compassion, and professionalism during one of the most frightening times of his life. What began as a relationship between patient and caregivers has quickly grown into genuine friendship, bringing Louis and our family comfort, confidence, and hope throughout his treatment.

Louis is also a devoted Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan who has stood by his teams through every high and low. He carries that same loyalty, determination, and fighting spirit into his own life. Just like the teams he loves, Louis is not giving up; he is ready to face this battle with everything he has.

Louis has always worked tirelessly to provide for his family and has never hesitated to support others when they needed him. Now, in the most difficult fight of his life, we are asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help cover medical expenses not fully paid by insurance, replace a portion of his lost income, and keep our family financially afloat while he focuses on treatment and healing.
