Dear Family, Friends & Community,
To know Liz Radl is to know an incredibly resilient and loving friend, neighbor, and family member. She is a brilliant, resourceful woman who serves as an anchor of strength and light for everyone around her. Now, as she prepares for a major, life-saving surgery this month (May 2026), my daughter Sarah and I are honored to stand behind her.
The Journey So Far
For the past few years, Liz has navigated a deeply challenging and complex medical path. While we are grateful to finally have a diagnosis, the long road to get here has been physically and emotionally taxing. Liz is currently managing an advanced, systemic condition that requires specialized, ongoing care. There is no cure for the disease and the road ahead will involve significant long-term challenges.
Out of respect for Liz’s privacy as she navigates this vulnerable time, we are choosing to focus on the next steps of her healing process rather than publicly share specific medical details of her diagnosis.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
While Liz focuses all her energy on surgery and post-op healing, we are coming together to remove the financial barriers standing in her way, ensuring she can heal with peace of mind.
Your contributions will go directly toward:
- Specialized Expert Care: Funding out-of-pocket consultations, follow-up care, and potential future surgeries within the small network of physicians/ surgeons who specialize in her complex condition—ensuring Liz can keep her expert medical team even if insurance coverage changes.
- Essential Rehabilitation: Funding intensive, specialized physical therapy.
- Independence & Recovery: Supporting everyday living expenses and lost wages to help Liz navigate life with an "invisible" illness.
- Logistical Support: Assisting with travel for treatment, hired help, care-giving needs, meals and specialized support services needed for her long-term independence.
