Standing with Liz: Support a single mom in grief.

Elizabeth "Liz" Mayhew has been one of the most dear and loved people in my life, and to many others as well. Today I was devastated to hear that her 19 year old son Noah has passed in a tragic motorcycle accident. Noah was a sweet, kind young man. He was extremely intelligent, creative and talented and truly had his whole world ahead of him. I would like to ask all my closest friends, family and our community, to help raise funds for Liz and the expenses she will be saddled with over the coming months. Liz is a mother of 3, with 2 younger kids still at home. She is a single mom, a part-time student, and just started a new job that she loves. Just this week she was able to move her and her kids imto their own apartment, after a long period struggling through divorce, job setbacks and medical issues of her own. She has been in a real tough spot, and suffered loss and adversity even before this tragedy, but now more than ever, she needs our love, compassion and generosity. Her son Noah was in North Carolina when this accident happened and she will have big expenses for travel, funeral arrangements, and supporting her children and home.
