On February 23, 2026 at 6am, our dear friend Lisa Bach passed on while Bill played "Every Breath You Take." Some people, like Lisa, are indelible, and her impact, love, and influence will remain with us all.

Lisa filled so many roles for so many of us — valiant friend, consummate participant in tomfoolery, mama bear to Charlie and Lulu (and countless other young people for whom Lisa provided a soft and safe landing spot), committed sidekick and partner to dear Bill, irreverent sister, a veritable Mary Poppins who always seemed to have just the right addition for every moment.

With Lisa's passing, we know that Bill, Charlie, and Lulu will soldier on. Doing so will require additional supports to cover medical costs, the loss of income, and the ability for Bill to take some time to grieve and be there to support Charlie and Lulu.

We’ve got this.
