Hi! My name is Linda, and in January, I was rushed to the hospital. I had collapsed and was having trouble breathing. I was in the hospital for over a week, and when I was released, I was put on oxygen 24/7. I have yet to be able to return to work, and my doctors don’t know if or when I will ever be able to return to work. I have survived on my savings up until a couple of months ago when my savings ran out. I absolutely hate asking for help, but I’m at a point where I don’t have a choice. My car has already been repossessed, and I just need to be able to afford to survive until disability can go through. Unfortunately, we all know how quickly the federal government works.
