Our family needs your help. My beautiful 17-year-old Lia has been through so much these last couple of years. Battling an eating disorder, mental health struggles, and now being diagnosed with a debilitating condition called Functional Neurological Disorder. Her father had to take a leave of absence from work, and I had to cut my schedule to 2 days a week to take care of Lia. Lia has been having functional seizures multiple times a day, syncope episodes where out of nowhere she will just faint. She has fallen down my stairs twice and has passed out randomly outside on the ground. She has been experiencing tremors, migraines, and blurred vision. Multiple symptoms require multiple doctors and doctor visits. Needless to say, we are experiencing a financial hardship and could use any help. We as a family would appreciate it so, so much.
