Hello family and friends,
I’m at a point in my life where it feels like the devil thinks he’s winning—but he hasn’t. I’m still standing, and I still trust God.
Long story short, I fell at work and got hurt. My workers’ compensation claim was denied, and my employer terminated my position. I now have a lawsuit pending from that work injury, and another lawsuit from a separate accident. On top of that, I’ve been diagnosed with neuropathy, and I have a bulging disc pressing against a nerve, which is causing serious sciatic nerve pain and making it very hard to function.
Because of all this, I have to apply for SSDI disability. I’ve been trying to go back to work in a job that isn’t so physically demanding, but I’m learning that not many employers want to hire a man who walks with a cane. I’m sharing this so you understand why I’m at this point of needing help.
Right now, I am in the process of being evicted. If I don’t come up with $3,500 by Thursday, I will lose my home. That is why I’m reaching out to my family and friends—I am in need of help.
I understand that most lenders don’t want to loan money to someone without a job, and I know everyone has their own bills and struggles. If you are able to help me financially, I would very much appreciate it. If you are unable to help financially, I completely understand. In that case, I ask that you please pray for me, stand with me in faith, and keep me in your thoughts.
Please don’t judge me for asking. I wouldn’t come to you if it weren’t urgent and serious. I love you all, and there ain’t nothing you can do about it.
Love,
Leonard
