For those new to this Go Fund Me, here’s the backstory:

Point Robert’s own Leigh “let me tell you what I really think” Moorehouse needs our help. In August 2025, Leigh was diagnosed with occult breast cancer, a rare condition making up only 0.3-1% of all cancers. The prognosis is good, but she has had multiple surgeries, is now undergoing chemotherapy, and is not yet out of the woods.

Leigh has her own contracting business here on the Point and is an active member of this community. She has been off work since November, and doctors tell her she will be out until July 2026. While she does have health insurance, there are still many costs associated with treatment for which she is paying out-of-pocket. With savings depleted and an inability to work, she needs both our prayers and our financial help. Please follow your inspiration and give as you can to help our Leigh through this challenging chapter in her life story.
