Lee Ann was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called Metastatic Leiomyosarcoma. This cancer originally started in her uterus, which was removed last year, but has now spread to her bones, resulting in several lesions. Her oncologist has confirmed that, due to the spread, she is now at stage 4. Because of how rare this cancer is, she is receiving specialized care at Atrium Cancer Center in Charlotte. She is finishing up radiation treatment and will soon begin chemotherapy, including a challenging drug known as 'The Red Devil.' The treatment plan involves six rounds of chemotherapy, after which her medical team will reassess and determine the next steps.

This diagnosis came as a shock to Lee Ann and the entire family. The journey ahead will be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding. The funds raised will go directly toward her mounting medical bills, essential living expenses, and will also help her spend meaningful time with loved ones and create special memories during this challenging period.
