Hello everyone. I am raising money for my sister, Lakesha Newsom (Tootie). My sister was found unresponsive on early Tuesday morning, March 3, 2026, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, after being severely attacked by a pack of dogs. She has suffered extensive injuries, including multiple bites, deep wounds, and gashes across her body. She is currently in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit.

So far, she has had to undergo multiple surgeries, and she still has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead of her.

We are asking for help because she does not currently have medical insurance. The funds raised will go toward her current hospital care, future medical treatments, rehabilitation, and other essential needs she may have during her recovery, including housing and personal care.
