Help Kyson Fight Leukemia & Support His Family
Fundraiser Story:
Six-year-old Kyson has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of blood cancer, and his family’s world has been turned upside down overnight.
For weeks, Kyson had been battling a persistent cough and wasn’t feeling like himself. After multiple visits and continued concern, his parents, Justin and Kendra, pushed for blood work. Initially, they were told it wasn’t necessary — but they trusted their instincts and insisted. That decision likely saved their son’s life.
The test results revealed that Kyson was critically ill. They were instructed to take him immediately to Primary Children’s Hospital. Within hours of arriving, doctors confirmed the diagnosis and began aggressive chemotherapy treatment right away.
Kyson remains hospitalized and is expected to stay for several weeks. Even after he is able to come home, he will require ongoing treatments and frequent hospital visits. This will be a long and challenging road filled with uncertainty, hospital stays, medications, and continuous care.
As Justin and Kendra focus entirely on their son’s fight, the financial strain is already significant. Medical expenses, travel costs, daily living expenses, and time away from work are quickly adding up. Justin has lost his income due to the extended time required to care for Kyson, leaving the family without steady financial support during this critical time.
This fundraiser has been created to help ease that burden so they can concentrate fully on Kyson’s healing without the overwhelming stress of mounting bills.
If you feel led to give, any amount — large or small — will go directly toward: • Medical-related expenses
• Travel to and from treatments
• Housing and daily living costs
• Supporting their two other young children during this time
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Kyson and his family in your prayers.
Kyson is a brave, strong little boy with so much fight in him. With faith, love, and community behind them, Justin and Kendra will not walk this road alone.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued prayers.
