We are Frank and Kate, and we have been friends with Kristi for decades. We raised our kids together and Frank and Kristi’s relationship goes back to their teenage years.

Kristi is the heart of her family and community. Less than two years ago, Kristi lost her husband, a long time law enforcement officer, after they spent almost 30 years together, and she has shown incredible strength as she navigated life as a single mother. In the months that followed, Kristi often didn’t feel well, but she thought it was just the weight of grief. Sadly, it turned out to be something much more serious—Kristi was recently diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down, and she is now facing a long and challenging road ahead with treatments and recovery.

Kristi is a devoted mother and the owner of a beloved daycare. Her children and her daycare babies are her priority, and she pours her heart into caring for each child as if they were her own. As she begins her fight against cancer, the financial strain of medical bills, daily living expenses, and keeping the daycare running is overwhelming for Kristi and her family.
