Help Support Kristine and her family during this next chapter after cancer has hit their home (Hilburn Ciancimino Williams)

In just the last two months, Kristine’s life changed in a way no one could have expected.

What started as a stiff neck and a fall during a winter storm quickly led to a cancer diagnosis affecting her thyroid, lymph nodes, neck, and vocal cords.

She just finished a 7 hour surgery and a week in the hospital. Now, she faces the next chapter of her journey including cancer treatments and recovery.

Kristine went from being a Pocono girl to building a life in North Carolina, following a 14 year career in the car business that she truly loved. She then found her forever place with the Davie County Chamber of Commerce, where she has poured her heart into supporting local businesses and has fallen in love with everything Davie County.

She is someone who gives deeply, loves hard, and shows up for the people around her without hesitation.

Nothing has ever mattered more to her than her family and being present in their lives.

She is a devoted wife and mother to two boys, one who is in his senior year preparing for graduation, and part of a large, loving blended family that includes stepchildren who mean just as much to her.

While their family has already felt so much love and support, the reality of time away from work and their construction business will have a significant financial impact. As a family, we are asking for help and support to ease some of these unexpected hardships.

I’m Olivia, her little sister, writing on behalf of our family. When I say she’s my big sister, I don’t just mean in age, I mean in strength and so much more. She has always said she wishes she could be like me because I’m the “stronger one,” but in reality, she has always been the one who shows up for everyone else no matter how hard she has been knocked down.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Even small contributions make a meaningful difference, and every bit of support truly helps.

We have set a goal to help give their family some breathing room as she continues treatment and recovery.
